So far at the 2008 World Series of Poker there have been X bracelets awarded to pros and X bracelets awarded to European poker players (and or pros). I could give you the number which X represents followed by the poker statistics but the truth is… this information is published all over the place. And if I wanted more statistics I would just watch more baseball (but it’s too depressing with the Astros 13 games behind the Cubbies).
Nonetheless, let me mention that David Benyamine of France (kissed by Erica Schoenberg) is leading the 2008 WSOP European Money winner list. He is followed by: Vitaly Lunkin – Russia, Jesper Hougaard – Denmark, Dario Minieri – Italy, James Akenhead – England, Rob Hollink – Netherlands, Sebastian Ruthenberg – Germany, Alexander Kostritsin – Russia and Jens Voertmann – Germany. Max Pescatori – Italy, bubbles this final table list in tenth place. I will say I love The Hendon Mob for their informative ranking lists. Check them out at The Hendon Mob to read more.
It should be noted, Pescatori and Minieri, are both Italian and have won bracelets. Should they decide to have a poker-off (not to be confused with a dance-off) then it would be the Pirate vs. Gryffindor.
It should also be noted that despite the hot weather in Las Vegas… the Amazon Room is freezing and scarfs make for good jugular covers. Read more on French poker players on Benjo’s site and don’t forget new Girl on Girl over on WCP.
