I was going to regress into oppositional tendencies and blow off the 25 things facebook chain-letter until I read this one by Newby:
1. I like bananas
2.
Newby, you inspired me. Here’s my facebook 25 things you didn’t know about me:
1. If you have time to answer 25 questions, then you may ask yourself… well, how did I get here?
2. My “here” has… come full circle watching Grover say “far” and “near”.
3. My name is Michele Lewis, sometimes just Michele
4. Facebook status prompts are tempting as hell
5. Writing is sometimes my occupation
6. I don’t accept facebook applications
7. Sometimes, I’m too lazy to type an entire url
8. So I’ll google domain names like dictionary or Dell
9. I married someone who didn’t say “Bitch, bring me milk and a cookie.”
10. Most men will do anything just for the nookie
11. This Q & A has taken too long to write
12. Would have finished sooner had I more time to write
13. The movie 300, I like it a lot
15. 300 is good T & A plus those guys are hot
16. Action flicks = awesome, not a fan of Lifetime
17. Lifetime seems sappy and for people who whine
18. I’d rather count odds, read a book or play poker
19. I count really well. I play games without jokers
22. Sometimes I use contractions, sometimes I don’t
23. Almond Joy’s got nuts, Mounds don’t
24. I would type in your name for the chain tag
25. But I’ll pass this once on being a nag
BTW, for those of you who did this thing… I actually enjoyed reading what you had to say. So, I’m only making fun of myself. Seriously, Ya’ll.
And yes, change that to 20 & 21 in the previous post. D’oh!
I can’t believe I didn’t catch that 19 & 20 were also missing. I just assumed you only skipped *one* number, you dirty cheater!
One of the best takes on this thing I’ve seen yet. I was curious as to how you got the last two lines to rhyme in a 25-line series of couplets — until I realized that you skipped #14. Unusual choice, because most casinos skip #13.
My favorite is #2. I did a mean Grover imitation back in high school that I’m still known for, and I would go really, really far to illustrate the difference between near and far.
