<p>Looking for less expensive and more fun? There are some charity poker events coming up as well.&nbsp; the <a href="http://skinniemagazine.com/tickets/celebrityPoker">Celebrity Poker Tournament</a>, <a href="http://www.devonshire-pals.org/upcoming-events.html">Monte Carlo Night</a> and <strong>Jacob Zalewski&#8217;s</strong> tournament <a href="http://onestepcloserfoundation.org/Welcome.html">All In for CP</a>.&nbsp; </p>
<p>And if you&#8217;re busy or too broke from gambling then be sure to watch the <strong>ESPN</strong> coverage of the <strong>2008 WSOP</strong> starting this Tuesday night.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m bummed to miss the Legends WPT Ladies event this weekend.  I&#8217;d anticipated playing this tournament but it snuck up quickly.  I&#8217;ve been so busy with family life that I forgot to plan for the event.  It&#8217;s a great event for several reasons:</p>
<ol>
<li>It raises money for The Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against cancer.</li>
<li>Winner wins a seat on WPT Ladies Night.</li>
<li>It&#8217;s a 1k ladies event which are rare.</li>
</ol>
<p>It&#8217;s this weekend at The Bicycle Casino- Legends.  Good luck to my women friends playing including defending champ and expecting JJ Liu.</p>
