After the Fox News / Google presidential debates, I tweeted “One of the best things about presidential campaigns is Saturday Night Live.”  Alec Baldwin is hosting the SNL opener this weekend, which could put Pete Schweddy in the presidential race.  Good times. If the presidential debates included Schweddy, he’d mention that he created 350,000 Schweddy Wiener and Schweddy Ball jobs.  Here’s how his opponents would reply:

• Michele Bachmann:  I would repeal the current Schweddy Wieners and replace them with new and improved Wieners.

• Ron Paul:  The Government shouldn’t be controlling America’s Wieners.

• Newt Gingrich:  I’m not interested in having a Wiener fight.  But I will say…America should follow President Reagan’s plan and empower America’s Wieners because that’s how Wieners work.

• Jon Huntsman:  I have the most experience with Wienerschnitzel.

• Gary Johnson: My neighbor’s dogs have provided more Wieners than the current administration.

• Rick Santorum:  Wieners are not the issue.

• Mitt Romney: According to Governor Perry, Wieners are a Ponzi scheme.

• Rick Perry:  Governor Romney needs to decide if he likes Wieners or not.  But the fact is… Texas has the biggest Wieners in America.

• Herman Cain: In my plan, American’s will have a flat butt.  We’ll have nine Wieners, nine Balls and nine Butts.
