Where in the world is Jeffrey Pollack? Most of you read Danerati’s post about Pollack jumping on board with the Professional Bull Riders. Pollack will be riding bulls about as often as he played Lyle Berman heads up and or the WSOP Ladies Event. Which was never. However, if you want to know if Pollack will be around the poker world? Here’s what he had to say:
Michele Lewis: OK Jeffrey, let’s hear what’s going on? I should be calling you Benny Binion now that you’re mixing poker with rodeo, no?
Jeffrey Pollack: First, my dear, the PBR is not the rodeo. It’s the world’s most competitive bull riding and a sport that requires enormous athletic skill, physical strength, bravery and courage. As to mixing the PBR with poker, that’s not in plan.
ML: Technically, you’re on the board of PBR rather than an employee. Regardless of title, you’re known as a hard worker, however, there’s a rumor you’re planning to announce something in the poker industry. Is this true?
JP: I usually don’t comment on rumors. Seth Palansky taught me that. But, I will say that I do have a plan to launch something meaningful for the poker industry, so stay tuned on that one.
ML: You have been missed at the WSOP this year… is there anything you would like to say to the friends you made over the years?
JP: That’s nice to hear. Part of me misses the WSOP, too. I will always be a fan and WSOP Nation will always have a special place in my life. There are lots of players, dealers, floor staff, corporate and Rio folks, partners and fans, I miss, too. If there is one message, it’s that I wish them all a very successful WSOP and I hope 2010 is the best year, yet.

”The poker world desperately needed an influx of homosexual hipsters like the gang at WCP. Without them, the poker world would be a bunch of overweight schleps.” And while I’m sure they chuckle at the above statement, it’s quite possible Erica Schoenberg made them speechless (for about two seconds) with her description “You know you’ve arrived when Wicked Chops talks about you.”
