Social Media Like or Unlike?

Social Media Like or Unlike?

Those who know me well, know my fondness for the social media delete button.  I’ve deleted four or five accounts after a few disturbing events.   Only to return to see what’s going on in media world and…I find myself hitting accept more often than I should.  Look, I don’t think I’m all that important, but my kids sure as hell are.  And when it comes to kids… well, better to be safe than sorry.

So, last night I apparently “liked” a photo when I wasn’t even on Facebook.  Then I was informed that there was a Michele Lewis account using Lacey Jones for the profile pic.  Nice.  Well, it’s not me.  And I’m pretty sure it’s not Ms. Jones either.

Looks like I will be downsizing some friends and returning back to lock down mode.  One thing is for sure… social media is a great place to figure out who your real friends are.

Lack Of Live Twitter Coverage Of ESPN WSOP

Its ESPN 2009 WSOP Poker Night and it seems most poker players are too busy watching the show to update Facebook or Twitter. I would think there would be more… “Can you believe that play?” Or “what’s up with that shirt?” However, I haven’t seen much live coverage of the coverage.
I haven’t watched the show yet because I have a Tuesday night commitment so I was hoping to read a teaser from some of my…friends.
Maybe I’m hanging with the wrong crowd. Maybe I should follow the November Nine. Should be some good post quality tweets there…
No pics. I’m mobile.

MySpace to Nice Place

MySpace announced the removal of 90,000 sex offenders today.  Does this mean MySpace removed 90% of the people who still login?  Probably not, but hopefully the women in poker will receive less friend requests from guys who have a bunch of half naked women as friends + Tom.  Come on guys, we don’t believe you’re really friends with all of those women.

Of course, we do believe Tom really uses Facebook.
