Balancing Table Talk = Dan Harrington + Gavin Smith

Dan Harrington and Gavin Smith 2010 WSOP Main Event

Gavin Smith & Dan Harrington 2010 WSOP Main Event

No idea if Gavin Smith and Dan Harrington were intentionally placed together at a 2010 WSOP featured table but it certainly makes for better video.  Harrington might have more chips at the moment but everyone knows…Smith will pick up the slack in the talking department.  Pretty sure some of this footage will end up on ESPN Classic.

Lack Of Live Twitter Coverage Of ESPN WSOP

Its ESPN 2009 WSOP Poker Night and it seems most poker players are too busy watching the show to update Facebook or Twitter. I would think there would be more… “Can you believe that play?” Or “what’s up with that shirt?” However, I haven’t seen much live coverage of the coverage.
I haven’t watched the show yet because I have a Tuesday night commitment so I was hoping to read a teaser from some of my…friends.
Maybe I’m hanging with the wrong crowd. Maybe I should follow the November Nine. Should be some good post quality tweets there…
No pics. I’m mobile.

ESPN Poker Night Evelyn Event

evelyn-ng-2009-wsop-6-handed

evelyn-ng-2009-wsop-6-handedSure, we could talk about ESPN’s WSOP Poker Night footage of Doyle Brunson, Greg Mueller, Lex Veldhuis, Jerry Yang, Jason Alexander, Joe Sebok and so on… but truly the most important part of Tuesday’s  2009 WSOP Main Event on ESPN was the sweet reminder that Evelyn Ng is beautiful.  And a nice girl to boot.  Too bad there wasn’t any footage of her great shoes.

More WSOP with Hot Chick Tiffany Michelle and Brandon Cantu

BRANDON CANTU

tiffany michelle by michele lewisTiffany Michelle and Brandon Cantu (see photos) will be playing some WSOP poker tonight. ESPN airs more 2008 WSOP Main Event to reveal how a poker tournament is kind of like a reality television show because it comes across as really realistic.  But this isn’t Reality T.V.  Sure, there’s a lot of chanting, deceiving and cashing involved but like I said… this isn’t reality T.V.  It’s a sporting event where players make it look really, really realistic and most have two balls for the game.

Click here to preview the other hot chick on tonight.

Hottest Chick in Poker

While The Entities named Lacey Jones the hottest girl in poker, I’d like to remind Ms. Jones to stay on her toes as she has some serious competition. Or at least during ESPN’s coverage of the 2008 WSOP.

Looking for Poker Post WSOP…

Now that the WSOP is over, poker players will disperse into groups by going to different poker tournaments around the world.  Tournaments and (their schedules) coming up are Legends of Poker , the APPT , the EPT, the Borgata Poker Open and the WSOPE.

Looking for less expensive and more fun? There are some charity poker events coming up as well.  the Celebrity Poker Tournament, Monte Carlo Night and Jacob Zalewski’s tournament All In for CP

And if you’re busy or too broke from gambling then be sure to watch the ESPN coverage of the 2008 WSOP starting this Tuesday night.

Main Event Day 3 Gets to the Money

effel-and-pollack-shuffle-up

Shuffle up and deal will be announced shortly and the remaining 855 players of the 2008 WSOP Main Event will duke it out for money.  The 2008 WSOP Main Event will pay 666 players and I would imagine most are looking to “just get in the money.”  But there are players with bigger goals than a 100% (and change) return on their investment.

effel-and-pollack-shuffle-up1David Angel, who my father-in-law says is one the best poker players he has ever played, is still in and I can promise you… he’s not looking to win 20k.  And neither should Day 2B chip leaders Peter Biebel, Alex Outhred, Baja Kattamuri and Steven Goosen.  Hopefully, players with an M over 100 are feeling confident enough to play their “A” game while staying humble.  Outhred, who teaches at the WSOP Academy, knows this and should be the one to watch.  One thing is for sure… Phil Hellmuth is sitting on 196K and we all know the money is nice but he has his eye on winning some WSOP jewelry.

Don’t forget to check out coverage on ESPN 360, live updates on Pokernews, girls still playing the Main Event on WCP and ramblings from Pauly.

Good luck to Jeff “Tarzan Jeff” Gibralter, Gary Friedlander and all my other friends!
