We just left the Ante Up for Africa party at Pure nightclub where they were celebrating the funds raised to help displaced families and moved to the opposite end of the spectrum for the Bluff Magazine slash Doyles Room party at the strip club Sapphire. The most impressive thing happened in between.
Shelley Rubenstein, Europe’s premier poker writer, and two anonymous media peeps received a ride from Jeffrey Pollack. Pollack declined the invitation to join the party but was quick to respond to our gratitude with a “Hey, its customer service.” Thanks again Mr. Pollack and good luck on opening day. We’re looking forward to Wayne Newton opening Day 1A with Viva Las Vegas tomorrow with the band.
