It’s ironic the popular game, Texas Holdem, is illegal to play in the State of Texas. OK, it’s legal to play in a private setting without a rake. There’s some gray areas regarding charity events etc. But legal card rooms? Forget it.
This year Rep. Jose Menendez makes another attempt to legalize poker with HB-222. Let’s hop old rumors of Louisiana getting involved (due to fear of losing Texas customers) won’t kill the bill.
