Bill White’s campaign manager Michael J. Moore needs to tap into the masses. “I like White” would have been a campaign to remember against Governor Rick Perry. Not only because White rhymes with Ike but as a reminder at how well he handled the Hurricane Ike evacuation.
Obviously he has to keep education, health care, and border control on the policy platform but why not campaign to host SNL? Then he could have said… “Hi, I’m Bill White. If I’m Governor, I will host SNL as this guy [Mr. Bill photo] kicking this guy’s [Sluggo photo] ass” because most politicians go on the show anyway and people dig it. Come on… own it, get the free press and have fun doing so.
Or grow a White Beard for the World Series? Have a Beard of White vs Beard of Brian dance off with Justin Timberlake as the referee. I mean come on… everyone knows former President Bill Clinton owned Generation X with his.. I’m not going to say anything bad about anyone, I kind of smoked pot and like…I want my MTV . It’s such an easy strategy. You know…if you’re cool, they will follow. So, build that humor, White. Build it.
