The World PokerTour’s Festa al Lago is one of my favorite tournaments for several reasons:
- It’s held in Las Vegas at the Bellagio’s Fontana Room. Quaint, quiet and when players bust out they might hear the Bellagio theme song see video above.
- Great gelato is just steps away (If you get lost then ask Neil Channing for directions).
- Alan Feiner can get a satellite going pretty fast.
- It’s where I played my first casino tournament (thanks to Feiner).
- Best weather of the year on Bellagio’s Fontana Lounge.
The downside of Festa? You’re stuck eating at Bellagio restaraunts when craving Sao Paulo Cafe.
