Internet Censorship + Online Gaming: Governor Gary Johnson, an online gaming supporter, received a GOP debate invitation from Fox News on Tuesday. Coincidence or not, his invitation came around the same time the FTP “ponzi scheme” news broke. If Internet censorship and online gaming are big issues for you, Fox News and Google are taking voter’s questions for tonight’s debate. You can submit debate questions via video or text.
UPDATE: From what I’ve read online, Fox News tweaked the rules to get Gov Johnson an invite and GOP wasn’t happy. Would like to see candidates asked about online gaming.
UPDATE: Too late to ask, not too late to vote on questions.
Johnson’s views on Internet censorship.
Fox News ask candidates a question.
Previous Republican Debate: In the last debate, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Mitt Romney were criticized for attacking one another. Like other media, I also mentioned Bachman’s position on Perry’s vaccine. However, like her or not, I should mention that Bachmann was emotionally open with her opinions. Unfortunately, I focused on agitation rather than noticing an honest opinion. I’m not saying I disagree or agree with her position, I’m just pointing out she didn’t give a robot answer. The reason I’m writing this is because I can’t downplay candidates for giving pep rally speeches while simultaneously ignoring honest opinions simply because it’s something I don’t care to hear. IMO, things I usually don’t want to hear are usually the truth.
