For anyone interested in playing poker in Monte Carlo or just hanging out in Monte Carlo then good news… PokerStars announced the EPT Monte Carlo Final is scheduled for April 27 – May 3, 2009 at the Monte Carlo Bay Resort.
John Duthie, the well mannered EPT founder, shared his optimism:
“It is staggering to think that, at the very first EPT Grand Final in 2005, we had just 211 players and a total prize pool of EUR2 million. Last year, both player numbers and prize pool were four times that and this year, it looks likely that we’ll smash the EUR10 million mark for total prize pool…”
