New Poker Interview + WSOP Circuit

ESPN Poker Night Evelyn Event

Sure, we could talk about ESPN’s WSOP Poker Night footage of Doyle Brunson, Greg Mueller, Lex Veldhuis, Jerry Yang, Jason Alexander, Joe Sebok and so on… but truly the most important part of Tuesday’s  2009 WSOP Main Event on ESPN was the sweet reminder that Evelyn Ng is beautiful.  And a nice girl to boot.  Too bad there wasn’t any footage of her great shoes.

Sunday! Sunday! Bunsday! + Liz Lieu Parties Right

While I would like to say my iPod and booty Boom Boom Powed on the StairMaster today… the only buns I have to write about are the hot-dog buns I had for lunch.  And they were quite tasty.  No worries, I put 5 days towards  my 90 day blogger butt goal this week.  Besides, last night I twittered, tweeted, sent a twit… asking if jeans really shrink in your closet.  Liz Lieu confirmed they did so… I’m all good.  Or at least I thought I was until my husband and I pondered the irony of Liz Lieu worrying about her jeans fitting. 

Speaking of Liz Lieu… Happy Birthday, Liz.  And I have to say… you had a very cool birthday party.

That’s pretty much it for today.  Oh, except Sookie on HBO’s True Blood may love Bill but Eric is… 

My posts will be picking back up when school starts so stick around I’ll be right back.

Poker Girls Have Some Fun

It’s nice to remember some states allow kind people such as Jennifer Harman (the only girl in the above photo) to raise money for charity through poker tournaments.  Like the $111,000 Harman raised last week in Reno for the National Kidney Foundation with the help of poker friends.

Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho were there supporting the cause; however, it seems the girly duo continued their fun over the weekend as seen in the video below.

Tournament Cash = Happy Maria Ho

Andrew Cimpan is probably happy he won the LA Poker Classic tournament especially with  Chris “Sweet  Baby Jesus” Ferguson cashing at the final table.  And not too shabby were the former Girl on Girls, Maria Ho and Erica Schoenberg, cashing as well. But as Ricky Bobby (see photo) says… “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”

I’m not sure about everyone else but I do know Ho was happy about her play considering the cards she was dealt during the tournament.  We had a nice chat on the bittersweet topic of… yeh, cashing is great but winning is more fun.  Or something like that.  You know the feeling… it’s always exciting to get into the money but then… well… it’s just not first place.  Despite Ricky Bobby’s (pre-cougar) moto, we agreed that there’s always something nice about cashing a tournament with horrible cards and a constant short stack.

Ho’s great sense of humor guarantees an easy interview, read last summer’s interview here.  Blah, blah, blah… the point is… she’s an easy girl to talk to on the phone, in person, refereeing a mud wrestling contest or where ever.  

She’s not an easy sleazy Ho… she’s simply a sincerely-sweet-easy-she.  That was not intended to make sense* but I was enjoying so many s-words.

Girl on Girl Goes Bluff

Bluff Magazine Likes Poker Chicks

Bluff Magazine went sexy* when they put Lacey Jones and Christina Lindley on the cover.  Sure, we love reading about Doyle Brunson and Chris "Sweet Baby Jesus" Ferguson but I can't imagine that men ONLY want to read about men.  OK, maybe some men.

Nonetheless, the December issue of Bluff is just around the corner and yours truly will be interviewing one sexy poker hottie.  Yep, remember the Girl on Girl stuff over on WCP? More soon, as I still want to pimp my friend Ms. Jones.

*Sexy Info:

Jones and Lindley wore lingerie.  Lingerie (AKA underwear) is the same thing as a bikini but is made of more delicate fabric and sold in different sections of stores. 

High heels worn with bikini's and lingerie are optional but are often considered to be super sexy.

Some bikini's have labels stating the bikini shouldn't be worn in the water. 

Jones' lingerie covers more skin than most bikini's.  However, it's possible (somewhere) she could be arrested for wearing her outfit in public.

Every summer, millions of women wear bikini's at swimming pools, lakes, rivers and beaches.  In fact, these women do so in the presence of infants, toddlers, children, tweens, teenagers, young adults, adults, middle-aged adults and seniors.  However, these women are not arrested nor considered racey.
