True story. A child grows up through the John Doe public school system. In school they’re conditioned to listen, obey and believe the professionals holding the chalk. For if they don’t listen, progression isn’t possible. We’ll assume a similar structure exists at home.
As an adult, they conform to life’s basics. Pays they’re bills, show up for work, wait in line and allow waiters to bring food from the kitchen. In the evening, they watch the news professionals push more opinions sometimes at another’s expense. True story for many nameless Americans.
The point? There are two. First, the above was a cyclical background of the simple pav-like conditioning of the news network’s demographics. The “masses” who allow all types of media to mold, shape and fuel society into Stepford robots until a malfunction sends one off on a shooting spree. They listen, turn off the television then mindlessly quote other’s opinions. For opinions outside the box… will award them a label of conspiracy theorist, eff’ed up or nuts. Such labels are generally followed by outcasting by the hidden primitive conditioning that our society has re-packaged as knowledge.
Secondly, regardless of any socially unacceptable behavior, journalists shouldn’t drag a person’s name through the mud. For people have feelings as well as families who should be considered. In other words, pointing out flaws or shaming others has become justified in certain situations. Further, monetary tangibility and power reinforce this behavior. More further, often is one who picks something apart simply because they’re incapable of creating something on their own (for those of you who use original thought theory lightly). Nonetheless, it’s one thing to quote someone and or question the source directly but using negative adjectives to define someone as bad simply to ladder climb or earn income is…just another adjective. And bad policy.
Ahhh, good old fashion humiliation and shaming works every time.
Sidenote, I subjectively give comedy a free pass. Subjective was a disclosure word, as I’m assuming anyone reading this comprehends that… overall no one is perfect.
This is obviously not original thought nor a trade secret, just a pet peeve I developed as a teenager after my father said “So, a few days before the hurricane hit the John Doe News Network had a reporter on his knees at the beach to make the waves look bigger.”
Let’s bring up some examples, shall we?
Mark Madoff. If you read the news headlines then surely you noticed the poor guy was rarely reported as Mark but rather… his father’s son. Why? I mean, I know why. But really? You would think…yeh, you would think.
Bill O’Reilly repeatedly called Michael Jackson “Wacko Jacko.” Michelle Malkin said Jane Fonda was “nuts.” Numerous journalists print pictures of celebrities on vacation emphasizing weight gain or other imperfections. Papparazzi takes the bullet but who publishes the images? Who donates the web traffic? Who buys the magazine or paper? My personal favorite is the love hate name trashing. You know, the ”Don’t get me wrong, I love so and so, but they’re really…” And really what? You really want to trash their name with a compliment? And please… if you’ve ever used the word douche-bag to describe someone please stand-up.
Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton have to be seriously tough. Let’s throw them a passive-aggressive counterbalance.
Dear Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin,
I humble apologize for our perfect society. They seem to think it’s ok to call you stupid and weak (remember Hillary you didn’t leave your husband). So here’s to equality… Anyone who makes negative Clinton or Palin remarks….has a stupid, ugly family who should leave the U.S. if they fail to meat MENSA qualifications. And if you didn’t notice I mispelled meet then the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. And yes, the same rule applies to the spelling of misspelled +. Just kidding.
So, I have to wonder…did Michael Jackson ask Bill O’Reilly for a carousel spin? Did Jane Fonda kill Michelle Malkin’s pet rabbit? Nope, it’s simply a way to make money by bullying humans then justifying discourteous behavior as freedom of speech. Or… disguise their manipulation as “information.” Journalists will use words like nuts, wacko, crazy, gay, fat, stupid then shame a child for bullying. Really? What’s next…The Rise and Fall of Modern Society’s Hypocrisy? Even better…Keeping The Golden Ruler Happy: How to Avoid Being…Unliked, Unfavored and or…Unemployed by Hooking Negative Emotions Spotlighting Humans Faults.” Those should be best sellers, as the majority of humanity buys into poisonous hooking without common sense or further investigation. It’s as if they never heard the expression “Don’t believe everything you hear on TV.”
Sadly, Jackson overdosed, Britney Spears cried, Mark Madoff committed suicide and Jane Fonda…maybe aerobics, not sure because I don’t have time to focus on Jane Fonda. But I do know there were a lot of money and camera hungry people who suddenly found positivity in MJ. At his funeral. How many of those people reached out to help him while he was still alive? Outcasting…such a shame.
So, to all the bullies in the world feel free to talk all the shit you want. Never give up money, control, power etc because you will lose your worshippers. Always report how someone is messed up so they can be treated like an 1850′s leper and shamed out of society. Cast them away for their imperfections like a good little Nazi.
I’m not claiming to be perfect and probably have trash in my own blog. To those I negatively described… I humbly apologize. To the perfect negative independent thinkers (who really aren’t independent thinkers)…what have you done to unify the world? We know you didn’t pull the trigger, but did you help make the fuel?
