ESPN will be airing the WSOPE this Sunday on… ESPN. Here’s the copy and paste schedule

The WSOPE also airs on ESPN proper on 2/1 from 6-10pm (Episodes 1-4). Of course, most people will be watching the Super Bowl during those hours so it may be moot.

I doubt anyone would want to watch the Super Bowl over poker. Except maybe Seth Palansky. However, if ESPN were airing the Media Event then Seth would for sure be watching poker instead. Besides, Andre Johnson isn’t playing.
Nice Lewis…the day Andre Johnson is playing in a Super Bowl is the day I’ll watch it. I’m really torn. I haven’t watched a Super Bowl in like 6 years…and since the WSOPE final table lasted 22 hours in real time, it is all a blur and I want to see how ESPN condenses it all! Thank goodness for TiVo. The Super Bowl will wait. And yes ML, July 9 is circled on the calendar. u best be ready.
Oh Seth, you better get to reading all of your poker books you’ve been hiding in your desk drawer. Maybe you can talk Jeffrey Pollack into playing the media event and challenge him to a juicy prop bet.
And maybe I will see Andre Johnson around Houston and convince him to play the WSOP this year.
