The 2008 WSOP Main Event Day 1D was concluded with "Congratulations players, you have made Day 2" followed by "Oh, and Michalski won the lime toss." What? I graciously allowed Otis and Pauly their "alone time" together but according to Pokerati Dan… he weaseled his way in… then won the nightly kind-of-secret-location event. And to top it off, he’s rewarded an announcement in the Amazon Ballroom? And to top it off again, he hasn’t even posted about the lime competition which means he probably never will. I’m sure he’ll have a smart-arse comment.
BTW… 2008 WSOP Main Event Day 1D poker entrants clapped and cheered upon hearing they made WSOP Day 2 as if they were a bunch of women happy players. I personally don’t mind people exclaiming their pleasure in fulfilling a short term goal; however, I haven’t read anyone making fun of them like they do the Ladies Event. But then again, I’m American and I don’t read.
